Customer service was great.

I was very disappointed with my stay. The hot tub was only warm and overcrowded, which ruined our plans for relaxation. Additionally, the shower in room 139 didn't adjust properly, leaving us frustrated. The overall cleanliness was questionable, as we found human hair on the floor, making us doubt how thoroughly the room was cleaned.

I enjoyed my stay at Barkers Island Inn. The location is great, right by a lovely public beach that's perfect for outdoor activities. The restaurant serves good food, especially the sandwiches. The staff were super friendly and helpful, making check-in a breeze. My room was decent, clean, and relatively quiet, which made for a comfortable stay. The mini fridge was cold, and the bed was comfortable which helped me relax. However, I faced some issues with the confusing room map that was hard to figure out at first. Also, the bathroom door creaked loudly every time it opened. The hot tub had issues, not functioning as expected. Just a heads up if you're looking forward to using it. Overall, a nice place, but some areas definitely need improvement.

We had a fantastic time staying here with our kids, enjoying the nearby park areas and the excellent swimming pools that made for perfect evenings after our daily adventures, while the hotel staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making our stay even more enjoyable. however, the room could have been cleaner upon arrival.

Great Stay with Beautiful Views

Our experience here was delightful! We loved the gorgeous views of Lake Superior while sipping free morning coffee. The rooms were clean and the staff friendly. A tip for future guests, be sure to try the indoor pool—it’s refreshing after a day of exploring!

We recently stayed at a charming inn in superior and it exceeded my expectations. The staff was friendly and cute, and the lakeside view from our room was fine, especially during sunrise. The pool area was a hit with the kids, and the food at the restaurant was delicious, particularly the fish and chips.

The on-site bar remains well stocked with decent prices. Marina access offers great opportunities for boaters, while clean, recently renovated rooms provide comfort during your stay.

We stayed in the King Room for one night. The room was clean and spacious, but there were a few maintenance issues—like rust in the bathroom. The beds were super comfy, which was nice for our first getaway without the kids. The hotel felt a little crowded, though, with noise from kids in the halls. Overall, a mixed bag for the room experience.

Had a fantastic trip with friends! We loved the pool and had an awesome time exploring the SS Meteor Museum and Captain J's Mini Golf. The staff was friendly, and the onsite restaurant was a great option after a long day. Highly recommend it for a fun group getaway!
